Why We Built This Platform
In 2023, while visiting schools and youth programs, IMPAC founder Curtis Pickering saw a silent failure unfolding.
Students were receiving free laptops and tech grants, yet couldn’t explain how interest worked. Most schools lacked the staff, budget, or infrastructure to teach real-world financial skills. Even strong districts reduced financial literacy to a worksheet. It wasn’t neglect. It was a system with no scale, no support, and no standard.
Curtis had the vision. But vision alone doesn’t build systems.
That’s when he partnered with Julian Ware. Together, they assembled the right team of experts, designed the program structure, and engineered a delivery model schools could activate immediately. Ware led the operational buildout, aligning curriculum, deployment, and scalability to ensure the program could serve districts at every level.
The result: the IMPAC Financial Resilience Program. Budgeting, credit, debt control, and asset-building taught in plain language, with real-world application and measurable outcomes.
Districts, nonprofits, and institutions launch instantly. No extra staff. No new tech. Fully aligned. Scalable. Sustainable. Built to deliver real financial skills at national scale.
The System Failed. We Didn’t.
This isn’t content to consume. It’s capability you can deploy.
Built for institutions. Designed for real life. And structured to deliver measurable impact from day one.
Because every student will face a financial system. The only question is whether they’ll be prepared. With FLP, they will be.
